About DermaClip US
DermaClip US, LLC is a Houston-based medical device company focused on advancing needle-free wound closure for clinical and tactical environments. Our flagship product, DermaClip, was developed to address a persistent gap in closure technology — a method that achieves the anatomical gold standard of wound eversion without the procedural burden of sutures or the limitations of tissue adhesives.
The Science, Validated
DermaClip's clinical foundation is established through four peer-reviewed publications spanning military trauma, emergency medicine, obstetrics, and surgical settings.
A randomized controlled trial published in Military Medicine (2018) demonstrated 100% Level 1 healing in 120 patients. A prospective study presented at SOMA 2025 at Darnall Army Medical Center showed 83% faster closure than sutures. A case report published in Case Reports in Emergency Medicine validated use on skin tears in fragile elderly patients. A study published in the Journal of Reproductive Medicine (2019) demonstrated 53% faster closure in C-section patients.
The device has been adopted by MARSOC and is distributed through major healthcare distributors including McKesson, Henry Schein, and Owens & Minor.
