Our Company

DermaClip® US, L.L.C. believes that high quality skin closure should be available to everyone, regardless of access to high-end services. The DermaClip® team’s goal is to eliminate the trade-offs in skin closure made between time of closure and quality of patient care. The team aims to accomplish this goal by bringing the DermaClip® device to the US market and will further that goal with the continued development of non-invasive devices that enhance efficiencies and patient results.

The development of DermaClip® was the result of reviewing pre-existing knowledge of what ideally would be a perfect wound closure device and what the shortcomings were of existing techniques currently used. These findings were then combined with the medical knowledge of surgeons developed through years of experience closing wounds. Together, these surgeons conjured from their experience what a perfect wound closure device would be and what it would do.

This vision was brought experienced and creative engineer to combine their knowledge, experience and skills into a team to design an actual wound closure device – unlike any that had come before – to address those shortcomings. The result of that effort, which ultimately took years to develop, is the innovative, simple skin closure device called DermaClip®.
