New York, NY – 09/01/2015. DermaClip® today announced the appointment of Dr. Jeffrey S. Freed, MD, FACS, FACG, to its Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Freed is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, the Branch Chief of Colorectal Surgery at the Bronx VA Hospital, and a dedicated an experienced and recognized clinician, and a dedicated humanitarian that frequently travels on missions to third-world countries to perform needed surgeries in underserved communities. In addition, he successfully founded a care company that went on to establish a national presence that was ultimately bought out by a major health company. His appointment brings a depth of knowledge and experience both on the medical and on the business side as we move forward in introducing the DermaClip® Skin Closure Device into the US market.
